We had our first exhibition at Digby Memorial Hall at Sherborne. I believe it was a great success, what a great hall with every facility that we could ask for.

We had a steady flow of visitors throughout the day, the response was wonderful, with most peope commenting on the high quality of the art that was on display, which included paintings, jewelery, ceramics. There were demonstrations on all of the items on display. Thanks to those demonstrating. The refreshments need a mention, tea coffee and wonderful home made cakes.

Without our organisers and many helpers, these exhibitions would not be possible. So a great big thank you to all. Also a thanks to Sherborne for supporting us.

Visitors were asked to vote for their favorite painting. the results are as follows.

11 Votes went to Lynne Harvey with her picture "Goodacre Lake"

8 Votes went to Lynne Harvey with her picture "At The Fountain"

7 Votes went to Stretton Downes with her piture "Light Out Of Dark"

6 Votes wen to Elizabeth Webster with her picture "Red Tulips, Pink Pears"

Congratulations to you all.

PS. I almost forgot to mention we sold several paintings, portfolio's some ceramics and jewellery.
